Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 24, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how ContentCal Inc. (“ContentCal”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards your information when you use our website and the ContentCal content-operations platform (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information — name, email address, password, role, and the workspace/firm you belong to.
- Content you create — posts, captions, calendars, tasks, comments, uploaded media, and connected social-account metadata.
- Usage data — pages visited, features used, device and browser type, and approximate location derived from your IP address.
- Cookies and similar technologies — see our Cookie Policy for details.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
- Authenticate users and secure accounts and workspaces.
- Generate AI-assisted content and insights at your request.
- Communicate with you about updates, security alerts, and support.
- Analyze usage to improve performance and develop new features.
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and technical issues.
3. AI Features
Certain features use third-party AI models to generate captions, plan content, and produce insights. When you use these features, the relevant input (such as a prompt, title, or task data) is sent to our AI provider to generate a response. We do not use your private content to train third-party models where the provider offers an opt-out, and we configure our integrations accordingly.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as follows:
- Within your workspace — content and activity are visible to other members of your firm/workspace according to their roles.
- Service providers — hosting, database, analytics, email delivery, and AI providers who process data on our behalf under contract.
- Legal reasons — when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
5. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Section 7).
6. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at karrtiksaxena@gmail.com.
8. International Transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
9. Children’s Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the “Last updated” date above. Material changes may be communicated to you directly.
